The Graduate

In the end of June craziness I never got around to posting photos from A.'s big day, his 5th grade graduation ceremony.   A.'s graduation marked the end of 11 years of my boys being at this school and it was a bittersweet day for several reasons.  My baby was graduating from grade 5, we were saying goodbye to this school and for A. not only was he saying goodbye to a few friends who were moving away after school ended but he was saying goodbye to his favourite teacher ever, who he first had in grade 2 and was thrilled to have again in grade 5.

The first photo shows A. on stage with his diploma (that's Miss Millington in the white skirt) and the second photo shows the traditional handprint wall that they do every year with the graduates.  Josh's handprint along with all his graduating classmates is still there from 2005.
