The Park Project, photos from day one.

For the first official day of our park project we headed to Burlington.  We parked along the beachstrip and walked to Spencer Smith park.  It was a hot, hazy night and the the light was a little tricky but this night was about having fun not perfect photos.  Both the boys enjoyed the walk along the trail along the water and A. decided next time it would he wanted to bring his scooter.

A. had a great time playing on the equipment while Josh and I sat and watched people go by.  I went over to take some photos of A. and caught the photo of Josh on the way back, shooting from my hip so my camera shy guy didn't hide and love this rare photo I got of him.

The weirdest part of the night was A. said he felt like he had a nail in his shoe.  A piece of the bark from the playground had pierced right through his flip flop and was being driven further into his foot every time he took a step.  It took a few minutes to get it out and A. was pretty sure he was going to have to hop back to the car.

We drove around a few neighbourhoods in Burlington on the way home and then hit up the grocery store for a few things, including pretzel m&m's (yum), all in all it was a fun night.
